Licensing and third-party components

Controll3r application

Controll3r is proprietary software. Possession of the installer, binaries, documentation, or source repository does not grant permission to copy, modify, publish, redistribute, sublicense, or sell the software except under a separate written agreement from the copyright holder.

The exact application notice is included as LICENSE.txt in every packaged release.

Third-party software

The self-contained installer includes third-party runtime components. Those components remain under their own licenses and notices, which are installed with the application under:

IBM Plex fonts are bundled unmodified under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Their complete copyright and license notice is included in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES\IBM-Plex-OFL.txt.

Separately installed software

Blackmagic Desktop Video is not part of Controll3r and is not redistributed by the Controll3r installer. Operators using DeckLink hardware obtain it directly from Blackmagic Design and accept Blackmagic's terms separately.

No DeckLink SDK redistributable or Desktop Video installer is included in the Controll3r MSI.

Hardware and product names

Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use in compatibility documentation identifies the relevant hardware, driver, or runtime and does not imply endorsement.

Buyer agreement

Commercial use, support, updates, transfer rights, and the number of permitted installations should be defined by the purchase or license agreement supplied with the public release. This documentation does not replace that agreement.
